The VP, Sales Incentive Compensation will be responsible for overseeing the design, communication, execution, analysis, administration and change management for all incentive-based compensation plans within the Call Center division of Freedom Mortgage.  

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as sales incentive compensation subject matter expert within the Company
  • Leads in the design and implementation of new incentive compensation plans and programs
  • Manages a team of sales incentive compensation managers and analysts
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement; recommends solutions leveraging best practices and new technology. Develops and documents processes/ procedures as appropriate
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of complex models used to calculate monthly/quarterly incentive compensation payments for Sales and Operations
  • Oversees ad-hoc analyses based on business requests and recommend solutions to resolve compensation-related needs
  • Develops and analyzes compensation metrics that assist in understanding the effectiveness of existing plans and policies
  • Collaborates with key internal stakeholders across the organization, including Leadership, Sales, Operations, HR, Payroll, Legal, Compliance and Finance
  • Works closely with Finance and Sales Leadership to develop forecasts and budgets on incentive compensation expenses
  • Understands applicable state and federal employment regulations, mortgage industry regulations, compensation policies, human resource procedures, and Call Center procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8+ years of professional work experience in sales compensation
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and proactively manage multiple concurrent responsibilities
  • Ability to accurately compile and synthesize both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to establish relationships with executive business partners
