Description

Back end automation expansion support

Troubleshoot system issues and help analyze application issues through such techniques as interpreting log files, reading stack traces, and data analysis to identify root cause of issues. Monitor system alerts and incidents per SLA and lead the troubleshooting of outages and other incidents of the respective systems.

  • Work with Infrastructure team to install, maintain, configure, administer and optimize the respective systems
  • Work with operation team to monitor the respective systems such as server health, performance, capacity, etc., and respond rapidly and effectively to risky trends before they become issues
  • Coordinate production deployment of the respective development team, provide risk analysis, and support post-production validation and monitoring
  • Develop business supporting tools, which help resolve time-sensitive business issues
  • Develop utilities/batch jobs/scripts to improve system performance, stability and availability
  • Start initial research of Service Desk tickets for the respective development team and triage them according to the findings
  • Write Root Cause Analysis for the production issues
  • Opening problem cases with vendors as needed and driving them to conclusion
  • Participates in code reviews to ensure stability and availability prior to release into the Production environment
  • Leads application migrations to production following the enterprise guidelines and change management processes
  • Acts as an escalation point for application support, troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff on application and/or system problems

Position Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of BPM development experience
  • 3-5 years of software engineering experience
  • 2+ years of Oracle Experience
  • 2+ years of experiences in J2EE technology.
  • 2+ Years of experience with setting up, administering, performance tuning of an enterprise system.
  • Working Experience of Web Services (SOAP and REST), messaging development and Integration architecture
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies such as EC2, RDS, Lambda, Elastic Search, Cloud Watch, etc., is a plus
  • Experience in scripting tools such as Jython/Python is a plus
  • Knowledge with infrastructure/application architecture is a plus
  • Excellent analytical ability to trouble shoot issues in Production environment
  • Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organization success
  • Willingness to adapt to and self-learn new technologies and deliver on them
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, related technical degree, or equivalent industry experience, and a minimum two years of IT experience
