Description

The Senior GSE and PMI Claims Analyst is responsible for the QC, audit and oversight of claims filed, and various administrative procedures in the GSE and PMI claims process.  The Senior Analyst's duties are to ensure that policies and procedures are in place to ensure completed claims comply with investor and insurer guidelines.  The Senior Analyst is also responsible for assisting with the reduction of loss exposure to the Company.  The Senior Analyst will review, audit, QC and assist the loss analysis team performance reports weekly, monthly or as determined by management.  In instances where claims errors occur, the Senior Analysts will ensure a supplemental claim is filed by the Analyst or determine that the root cause of the error was isolated, and reported to the appropriate default servicing team(s). 

  • Complete Quality Control reviews to safeguard the servicer’s assets and insure compliance with investor and insurer requirements and  evaluation of supplemental claims performance to reduce loss exposure and provide reporting
  • Subject matter expert to guide analysts in rebutting investor and insurer curtailments for all FNMA - FHLMC and private insured filed claims, including but not limited to claims for advances, loss mitigation and non conveyance claims
  • Reviewing auditors findings and providing rebuttal responses
  • Correspond with vendors and site employee
  • Act as a point of contact/liaison, ensuring that policies and procedures relating to FNMA, FHLMC, and PMI requirements are followed, including compliance with federal laws and regulations
  • Demonstrates professional behavior and teamwork, is punctual, dependable and adheres to Company policies and procedures

Position Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac MI/PMI claims filing experience
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
  • High School diploma or GED
