Description

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer develops integrations between Marketing Cloud, Sales/Service clouds and third-party applications.

  • Creates and manages complex workflow rules, data validation, and system triggers.
  • Innovates dynamic content and automation efforts to support email marketing and Journey Manager’s efforts to build scalable emails and journeys.
  • Trains and mentors’ internal teams on how to best leverage various SFMC modules.
  • Stays current with the rapidly developing Salesforce ecosystem. Prototype and integrate new SFMC releases to identify additional opportunities to enhance user experience.
  • Translates functional requirements into technical design and develop robust solutions.
  • Performs release migration tasks (change sets, configuration, data load etc.) and environment setup/management.
  • Creates and maintains system interface diagrams, functional designs, and technical specifications

Position Technical Requirements:

  • Must have 5+ years of development experience in Marketing Cloud or Exact Target
  • Previous projects implementation experience with integration (Cloud to Cloud and 3rd party applications)
  • Experience with Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation studio.
  • Experience with SFMC Connector
  • Solid knowledge of SOAP APIs
  • Advanced AMPscript and SQL experience required
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing best practices including list segmentation, A/B testing, build, QA, deployment and reporting
  • Hands-on development experience in .Net or Java is a plus
  • Must have ability to deliver results on time and produce high quality deliverables (accuracy and thoroughness)
  • Must be proficient on programming best practices, design patterns and design trade-offs on internet and cloud-based platforms
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with other team members (immediate team as well as cross-functional teams)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate with minimal supervision
