Production Support Engineers handle requests and incidents related to Mortgage Originations, Correspondent Lending and Wholesale Lending systems. The primary responsibility is troubleshooting and resolving errors, and throughout their work must log details in the incident management application. Other duties include assisting with major incidents, suggesting improvements to the platform and preparing technical documentation.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues, review and provide feedback to any required user documentation.
  • Review incidents and suggest overall platform improvements to reduce customer impacts and increase efficiencies in incident management.
  • Assist with major incident triage, documentation and post incident reviews.
  • Document and upkeep tribal knowledge and runbooks to share with other team members as needed.
  • Participating in on-call rotations.


  • Strong expertise in Progress OpenEdge ABL/4GL.
  • Resolving application issues using Progress tools including Debugger, Promon, and Profiler.
  • Scripting using UNIX and LINUX commands, in depth Knowledge of UNIX / LINUX operating system.
  • Must be able to work with GIT, Bitbucket, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins tools to build and deploy.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL principals and processes.
  • Service Now experience is a plus.
  • Mortgage experience is a plus.



Position requires a BS degree in Computer Technology, Informatics, Computer Science, or Engineering or equivalent; three (3) or more years of Information Technology experience or diverse mortgage banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
