Description

The Product Owner is responsible for the tactical implementation of the Product strategy. 
The Product is our Benefit Assessment Tool. It allows our Loan Advisor's to present refinance scenario options to customers, primarily cashout options (paying off debts) to reduce overall monthly payments.
The Role will work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Engineers and leadership to create user stories and prioritized backlogs that are value-add, metric driven and contribute to the success of the business. This role will foster effective cross-team collaboration, drive testing and enable efficient delivery of product enhancements using agile methodologies with the goal of improving the overall customer and team member experiences and efficiencies.
Position Requirements
  •  5+ years of diverse financial services / mortgage banking experience preferred
  •  Determines and articulates Minimum Viable Product; that is, identifies those portions of an overall vision that are minimally necessary to achieve company objectives ​
  •  Creates, maintains, and prioritizes an Agile team’s work backlog by assessing business and customer value ​
  •  Collaborates with other Product Owners to manage inter-team dependencies ​
  •  Focuses on outcomes, sets clear success criteria​
  •  Challenges status quo to find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas​
  •  Possesses excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights ​
  •  Elicits customer feedback before, during and post-product build ​
  •  Develops a comprehensive point of view on industry trends and the broader market and competitive landscape
  •  Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with both technical and business associates​
  •  Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
  •  Excellent organizational and time management skills​
  •  Collaborates with wider team on project milestones and provides organizational management and stakeholder with relevant updates​
