The Vacancy:  Post Payoff Processor 

We’re currently looking for a skilled Post Payoff Processor to join the Freedom family. This role is all about ensuring all outstanding balances are cleared accurately and timely for all paid-off loans. Our ideal Processor will work collaboratively to ensure company guidelines and processes are met. You’ll need to be a determined, proactive, and solution-focused person who can work confidently around various challenges and keep the post-payoff process moving along smoothly.  


What does the job look like?  

As a Post Payoff Processor, your daily duties may include...   

  • Collaborating with Cash Management in the resolution and processing of short payoffs received. 
  • Contacting attorneys, title agents, and borrowers to resolve short payoff issues. 
  • Researching and resolving zero balance loans with remaining balances on the FISERV system. 
  • Making recommendations to department managers concerning potential write-offs. 
  • Researching and resolving borrower refund checks which are returned undeliverable. 
  • Auditing PIF loans to ensure proper notices are being sent to hazard vendors, tax vendors, and PMI companies. 
  • Ensuring the servicing system of record is properly notated to reflect all work that has been completed. 


Education & Requirements 

  • High School Diploma or GED required OR 1-3 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
