Summary: 
 
Essential Job Functions:

  • Gather the closing documents that require to be scanned and responsibilities include batch scanning of legal documents
  • Properly name and code each PDF to ensure transferring of images into company EDMS system.
  • Correct any errors or rejections due to improper coding, quality check by reviewing scanned images.
  • Data entry of key information as well as status conditions as applicable into in house company system.
  • Adheres to all records management business processes as established by Company policy
  • Maintains organized central file room and ensures that all legal files are stored in the file room when not in use.
  • Maintains confidentiality and privacy of all legal files
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
 

  • High School Diploma or GED required and one to two years of related experience and/or training
  • Ability to work with excel spreadsheets, scan and compare data/images. Knowledge of documents used in mortgage industry for closing is helpful.
  • Proficiency with Excel a must, Microsoft Access a plus
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Able to work in a fast-paced team environment
