Summary

The Manager- Corporate Training provides leadership and instruction to Sales Development Coaches. The position is designed to help create an atmosphere of continuous performance development within the Call Center and ensures the Mission of Sales Development is being carried through the team’s initiatives. This individual will assist with oversight of key business initiatives for the First Flyer, Fast Track, and Licensed New Hire programs that will include prioritization and alignment of business needs, resource scheduling, communication to associates and executive leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple high level projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide leadership and vision to guide your team to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Communicate the company’s goals and initiatives to team members – provide developmental plans to team member s as needed to drive improved performance.
  • Participate in and contribute to Company training initiatives.
  • Ensure team members are held accountable to Sales Development production, activity, and quality standards.
  • Monitor team members’ training and coaching sessions to ensure they are executing compliance, adherence to sales scripts, setting customer expectations and creating a sense of urgency.
  • Champion Company culture, acting as a source of information and inspiration for Team Members.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with associates, internal management, Talent Management, and other outside parties critical to the First Flyer, Fast Track and Licensed New Hires’ success.
  • Manages a team of 3 or more Sales Development coaches in one Call Center sales site.
  • Orders new hire equipment.
  • Works with business analysts, sales leaders, IT, and telephony to transition new hires from training to live production environment.
  • Manages employees’ timecards.
  • Provides guidance to coaches to effectively manage trainees’ sales pipelines and production.
  • Provides training to new Sales Development coaches including coaching techniques, reports, human resources need, program structure and program content.
  • Allocates coaching resources weekly.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Current leadership responsibilities overseeing group of trainers/coaches preferred.
  • Min. 5 years loan origination experience or related sales training experience. 
  • Experience creating and delivering one-on-one and group presentations.
  • Consistently achieves production goals.
  • Experience working in a high-volume and fast-paced sales environment.
  • Experience in prospecting, cultivating, and maintaining new and existing relationships from various sources.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Proven track record of completing projects to specifications while dealing with challenges such as cross-team dependencies, changing schedules and constantly evolving requirements.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, customer oriented and able to work independently as well as within a team and with internal business partners.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from a college or university.
  • Min. 3 years mortgage sales experience.
  • Ability to obtain state mortgage originator licenses through process of completing necessary educational requirements and passing the state mandated tests. 

Language Skills: 

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond effectively to most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Ability to obtain National and State Licensing through the NMLS preferred.
