Role Description

In concert with Enterprise and Application Architects, define emerging and core technology suite for digital operations (lending process improvements)

  • Engage technology companies


  • Identify partner offerings


  • Analyze industry directions


  • Leverage existing FMC technology stack


  • Identify opportunities to leverage these technologies across the enterprise that significantly reduce or eliminate “stare and compare” dependency


  • Document solution within a proposal format including cost, ROI and change management impact to organization


  • Work with business partners to drive understanding of business benefit and adoption of the technology solutions 

Responsibilities :

  • Drive increased technology value across enterprise


  • Create quarterly technology solutions roadmap that provides enterprise value


  • Saturate enterprise with potential technology solutions and options that will consistently reduce expense, reduce cycle time and increase customer satisfaction and market share


  • Fail with ideas as much as succeed – must be willing to define out of the box solutions, even those that may be too out of the box


  • Be an expert across the business by understanding business partners existing tools and processes. This is foundational in defining new solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 10+ years of IT experience, including Solutions Architecture, Solutions Design and/or Technical Pre-Sales Engineering for Software and Cloud solutions; Mortgage Industry Exp.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field


  • Certified AWS Solutions Architect or Java Technical Architect preferred


  • Demonstrated experience defining technology suites for large organizations/enterprises


  • Proven experience aiding and guiding decision makers in selecting technology platforms and solutions based on data analysis (cost/benefit, ROI, etc.)


  • Ability to establish relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors and other external stakeholders


  • Extensive experience making presentations to C-Suite and Sr. Management stakeholders (both technical and non-technical)


  • Executive level Communication and Organizational skills


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint


  • Ability to create technical diagrams using MS Visio or similar tools
