IT Business Analyst (Loan Servicing Platform)

Under general supervision, a Loan Servicing Platform Business Analyst will be leading the efforts to communicate and ensure business validation and testing functionality, rules and configurations for the Sagent loan servicing products or enhancements meet regulatory requirements. Partnership with internal and external clients to validate is essential for testing and implementation of new business features, business rules, work flows, and upgrades to existing features required to support regulatory requirements and loan servicing business operations. Loan Servicing Platform Business Analyst will work directly with the engineering, product, and compliance teams to develop and unit test the new features. Loan Servicing Platform Business Analyst may also create product documentation to support those features and internal and external training documentation.

We are looking for an individual who is self-driven which has a proven track record of results and business experience in the mortgage servicing industry. We need a strong communicator and team player and someone who is unafraid of a challenge. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, with high quality. The individual will also work on various business process areas and post production support related items.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal teams and external clients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Create documentation and test plans to validate product design
  • Identify and report on findings while working with teams and clients to correct problems
  • Meet with internal and external clients to understand and define requirements for projects or enhancements
  • Write business designs and test cases for new and upgraded system features
  • Perform project testing from a business perspective in the project development life cycle
  • Write and update product documentation for each project
  • Work closely with Business resources assigned throughout development, testing, and support of new features, rules, and product corrections
  • Assist with training on new implementation projects or enhancements deployed when necessary
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional team to perform impact analysis upon request
  • Must have a positive attitude, be a self-starter, and willing to work/learn independently
  • A passion for success and willingness to go above and beyond to accomplish goals
  • Performs other duties as required
