The Freedom Mortgage IT Asset Management (ITAM) team is responsible for the execution of end‐to‐end IT asset lifecycle management for the entire enterprise. This includes the monitoring, recording and tracking of assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts, licenses, entitlements, policies and safekeeping. Further, the ITAM team is tasked with implementing solutions that allow the IT department to reduce costs and provide competitive advantage through support and maintenance contracts, enterprise license agreements, and a streamlined asset management framework. Attention to governance, continuous improvement, and industry best practices is critical.

Seeking a highly motivated individual to efficiently able to work under minimal supervision to ensure compliance with IT and company policies, vendor contracts, licensing and end user device lifecycle practices while enhancing the end user experience.

The ideal candidate is someone with strong customer service orientation, excellent verbal and written communication, IT asset management experience, a team‐oriented can‐do mentality and able to interact with all levels of the organization.

This is a permanent full‐time role based out of Cinnaminson, NJ reporting to the Senior IT Asset Administrator.

Job Functions:

  • Managing the physical inventory and flow of all end user devices and peripherals throughout the enterprise including coordination with procurement and vendors
  • Reviewing vendor activity for new purchases and returns to drive recordkeeping into the configuration management database (CMDB), tagging and updating the CMDB and client management (CM) systems for asset assignment, location, service status, etc.
  • Monitoring stock and initiating purchases for all end user IT equipment and supplies for tech support, lifecycle and other IT areas at New Jersey and other Freedom locations
  • Coordinating IT asset disposals at all locations
  • Creating ad hoc and custom reports as well as maintaining various Excel reports with CMDB and CM data
  • Support other areas of IT including Desktop Engineering, IT Implementation, Security, Tech Support, Business Support as assigned
  • Participate in ITAM improvement initiatives and interorganizational teams
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly


  • IT asset management experience working with a CMDB
  • Demonstrated advanced Excel Word and Powerpoint skills and experience including pivot tables, vlookups, mail merges and other advanced functions is mandatory
  • Associates Degree in a related technical field or other equivalent technical certifications
  • Extensive knowledge of hardware, peripherals, connectivity standards for video, networking, accessories, printers and other devices
  • Experience with all Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced knowledge of common concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT service field
  • Excellent organizational and relational skills
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, BMC and other ticket systems, CMDB, endpoint management and software asset management tools
  • Intune and modern device imaging and configuration experience
  • Inventory and warehouse experience including shipping applications


  • Bachelors in IT and/or ITIL/ITAM certification or advanced degree
  • Experience with ServiceNow CMDB and migrations to ServiceNow
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools
