THIS IS A REMOTE JOB OPPORTUNITY.

Responsible for preparing and reconciling monthly investor reports and remittances,
processing cash movements and related general ledger entries, and responding to
internal and external inquires related to investor reporting.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform analysis of system cutoff activity and compare to the remittance’s methodology
  • Perform pool to security reconciliations and test of expected cash analysis . Quantify overages and shortages and take appropriate steps to clear variances
  • Prepare reports and remit funds associated with the monthly loan activity to the investors
  • Monitor P&I custodial accounts to ensure no overdrafts occur
  • Balance scheduled/scheduled, actual/actual, or scheduled/actual loan level and pool level portfolios, reporting monthly balances and remittances due according to investor guidelines
  • Research and clear cash adjustments before they become aged
  • Handle daily inquiries from internal departments as it relates to investor reporting functions
  • Respond timely to Investor inquiries or requests
  • Prepare requested documentation for any internal or external audits
  • Process loan transfers and portfolio reconciliations for acquired loans when necessary
  • Provide requested data for any loans being service released
  • Identify and target key investor-related issues for research, analysis, and resolution preparing summary reports of findings
  • Perform investor functionality testing in service bureau system as needed
  • Special projects as assigned

 

Other Related Duties:

 

  • Experience with Fannie Mae and Ginnie Mae reporting and reconciliation, including FNMA schedules 1, 2, and 3
  • Experience with Freedie Mac required
  • Knowledge of Sagent a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with an excellent math aptitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Fiserv, Business Objects, or Monarch is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access is a must
