Summary
The Fee Team Manager is responsible for managing a team of Analysts to ensure Accuracy of Fee Quotes given by Third-Party Providers related to Title and Settlement Services to ensure accuracy to State Guidelines and Contractual Agreements. The Manager will provide feedback to Ops Leadership and Third-Party Providers to Validate Accuracy and Identify Plans for Corrective Action to address discrepancies. Additionally the Fee Team Manager maintains the utmost level of customer service for borrowers, providers and internal departments.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage team of Fee Team Analysts as they work through Validations of Third Party Fee Quotes used by the Sales and Operations Department of Call Center
- Maintain communication with VP of Operations and provide feedback on a regular basis.
- Review State-by-State Bulk Data for Title and Settlement Fees from Third Party Providers to ensure Accuracy to Industry Requirements and Standards
- Identify Variances and generate corrective action for each identified discrepancy
- Conduct Weekly Meetings with Third Party Providers to review Audit Results via Formal Presentations and interactive feedback sessions.
- Monitor Fee Change Notifications from Title Underwrtiters and Providers to update Quote Engine
- Validate Transaction-Specific Data to ensure delivery of Quotes relevant to Individual Transactions
- Verify information is accurate in Lakewood and identify Root-Causes of Variances
- Manage individuals. Provide measurable goals and provide support for escalated issues that arise and ensure pipeline coverage.
- Train and provide guidance to staff regarding verification of documents, clearance of title, obtaining stipulations etc.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job is responsible for Managing a team of Fee AnalystsEducation and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University; or 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 Years Title Insurance Industry Experience is Required, Prior Title Examination or Quote Generation is a plus.
- Job candidates should have demonstrated abilities to exceed goals, provide excellent customer service, build long-term relationships, and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of pertinent federal, state and local codes, laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated communication, telephone and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of Title Industry preferred
- Knowledge of additional mortgage programs a plus (ie, FHA, Conventional, 203K, VA, Homestyle, Sonyma, etc).
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Customer Service Relationships:
Assesses and diffuses problem situations and requires influencing others to reach consensus. Requires tact and diplomacy to handle difficult customer relationships. Explores alternatives and creative solutions to meeting the needs of customers.
Work Complexity:
Tasks are multiple and diverse with some interrelationship across processes. Work requires the direct application of a variety of procedures, policies and/or precedents.
Work Environment:
Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
