Position Summary:

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Facilities Manager in providing a safe and secure environment for all building occupants.

  • Performs routine daily start-up and premises inspection
  • Completes, communicates status updates, and closes out assigned tickets in the work order system.
  • Responds to client inquiries or concerns.  Ensures timely and quality service delivery to clients.  Follows-up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assists with facilities/construction joint projects as assigned.
  • Point Of Contact for outside vendors to ensure work is being performed according to specification.
  • Communicates any issues that arise that may impact daily schedules to the Facilities Manager.
  • Is proactive in identifying additional maintenance or safety issues that may need attention.
  • Day porter duties – wipes down restroom/breakroom areas throughout the day as needed, restocks paper products & soap, Garbage disposal if required  
  • Orders office, cleaning, printer, and breakroom supplies as needed; maintains inventory.
  • Accepts deliveries, distribute mail & packages; orders/maintains shipping supplies.
  • Restocks printers with paper; changes toner.
  • Submits maintenance requests needed to property manager. Coordinate Building Access Card activation.
  • Issues vendor temp badges if necessary and/or escorts vendors while on site.
  • Assists with maintaining seating charts/desk & office name plates.
  • Maintains key inventory.
  • Maintain employee nametags

Education and/or Experience:

  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  Language Skills:

  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
