Essential Job Functions:

The Enterprise Guideline Change Management Department is responsible for the development, process design, and orchestration of the enterprise guideline and regulation tracking tool, which will have the ability to assign tasks based on if a new federal/state, agency (HUD/VA/USDA), GSE/investor (FNMA/FHLMC/GNMA) guideline, including track for any associated internal Freedom policies produced. This role supports the SVP with updating new guidelines and regulations as well as coordinating and communicating with key stakeholders.

 

  1. Responsibilities:
  • Provide day to day monitoring of regulation and guideline change management processes.
  • Perform ongoing testing and validation of adherence to corporate policy and guideline requirements and assessment of controls.
  • Ensure new guideline and regulation updates are added to the tracking tool. Recap in a manner that is easy to understand.
  • Follow up with the appropriate business owner to communicate the assigned enterprise category and/or updates.  
  • Assist with tracking changes to guidelines/regulations (in order to ensure the impact analysis is completed by the business owner/designate).  Assist with communicating any additional follow ups to others as required.    
  • Assist with performing impact analyses on potential risks and topics identified by the SVP, Business Systems Risk.
  • Monitor Risk-owned enterprise guidelines requiring new policy or communication
  • Work with business owners to reinforce best practices on enterprise guideline tracking and business rules documentation.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a Four (4) year College or University

  • Minimum 2-3 years related experience and/or training as a business analyst

  • Mortgage lending experience is a plus

  • Project management

  • Change management

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)

  • Basic knowledge of investor/agency rules and/or compliance regulations  

  • Self-motivated, willing to lead, take charge, offer opinions and direction. Escalates appropriately in a timely manner.

  • Listens openly, understands root causes and clearly conveys messages and information.

  • Effectively manages stress in a fast-paced setting.
