Summary
This position will be responsible for developing strategic partner relationships for Freedom Mortgage. Responsibilities will include prospecting, developing, maintaining and growing strategic partnerships for our Marketing efforts in the VA and Purchase verticals. Experience with business development in the mortgage industry, and a proven track record of identifying and closing strategic relationships to grow business is required. Travel may be required. A remote work location is viable.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop relationships with VA-industry support organizations and real estate industry broker, vendors and organizations for Freedom Mortgage through leveraging new and existing networks, and identifying new opportunities through competitive research and analysis.
- Attending conferences and trade shows to represent Freedom Mortgage and identify prospective clients
- Proposing relationship recommendations to internal and external decision makers in order to identify opportunities and define beneficial relationships.
- Create a strategy for each partner (including key needs, goals, performance metrics, relationship management and communication process).
- Responsible for maintaining and updating prospect presentation deck and working on strategic partnership materials.
- Work closely with the ACQ Refinance marketing team to identify same for VA partnerships

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
- 3 or more years of experience with marketing partnerships and/or business-to-business relationships and alliances
- Experience in relationship management and business development
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technic al procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and res pond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, are a, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Work Environment:
Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements. Position requires light physical activity.
