Summary

The CBR Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and management of the credit bureau reporting disputes team. The CBR Supervisor is also responsible for assigning and managing exception/control reporting, assigning and managing special projects, quality control review, daily validation of CBR data and management of tasks resulting from exceptions found in reporting, QC or dispute reviews.  The CBR Supervisor may also at times, address issues, conduct root cause analysis and execute on plans for resolution of data discrepancies, working with peers and various lines of business and levels of management.   

Essential Job Functions (include but are not limited to) :

  • Assist in the management of credit bureau reporting and disputes
  • Assist in the management of special projects, audits, escalations
  • Quality Control review
  • Employee coaching
  • Assist in developing reports as needed, interrogate data to ensure accuracy and take action to resolve exceptions. 
  • Responsible for working with other business units to ensure accuracy of data reported
  • Educate and train other team members as needed.
  • Apply math skills to analyze data
  • Establish and foster a work culture at all levels within the operation which is positive, collaborative, respectful, optimistic, and capable of driving long term operational sustainability.
  • Work with management to develop and implement new or revised processes and procedures to realize efficiencies.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

  • Five plus years mortgage servicing experience (across multiple departments is desired).
  • Prior Lead or Supervisor experience, management experience a plus
  • Credit Bureau reporting, (mortgage servicing) background a plus
  • 3 + years Default mortgage servicing required
  • Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s, and other Excel functions)
  • Familiar in criteria building and report creation.
  • Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
  • Excellent critical thinking & problem solving
  • Fast learner, able to embrace new ideas and thrive in a fast-paced environment

 

Language Skills: Ability to write report requests, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients & customers.

 

Mathematical Skills:

Basic mathematical skills

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to carry out detailed written and/or verbal instructions. Ability to solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
