The Manager of Campus Recruiting is responsible for the management, planning, and execution of all college recruitment efforts for the company in order to attract talented early-career candidates to join our First Flyer Training Development Program.

Essential Job Functions may include:

  • Develops and implements a campus recruitment strategy to attract, source, and recruit for Freedom Mortgage’s college graduate programs. 
  • Organizes, plans, and attends campus recruitment activities at schools.
  • Acts as liaison with hiring managers, program management, and leadership regarding all matters related to college recruitment.
  • Manages the college recruitment team including recruitment, training, monitoring, and measuring their success.
  • Creates and utilizes metrics and data to make decisions and reports with frequency.
  • Ensures a high level of customer service relating to both internal/external customer groups.
  • Establishes recruiting target schools and maintains a consistent presence on campus. 
  • Works with marketing and program management to establish marketing and collateral campaigns.
  • Manages the recruitment of qualified applicants.
  • Creates and presents data to share with senior leadership
  • Partners with Talent Management to create events for the First Flyer program.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs. Advises managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Cultivates a relationship with key colleges local to our main sites to get top college talent.
  • Able to achieve annual college recruitment goals.
  • Travel up to 50%

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manages staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a Four (4) year College or University preferred 
  • 2+ years of College/Campus Recruiting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ years of people and/or program management experience.
  • Relationship building skills required.
