Summary
The Campus Recruiter will source and attract talented early-career candidates to join our First Flyer Training Development Program.
Responsibilities:
- Build and develop influential relationships with key contacts at universities and partner-sponsored organizations including academic faculty, career services, development offices, and student organizations.
- Provide oversite and support in executing recruitment events, career fairs, networking events, and information sessions to extend the Freedom Mortgage employment brand on campus
- Organize and participate in recruitment activities including attendance at campus career fairs, on-campus interviews, information sessions, and on-site interview days. Works closely with internal stakeholders to establish a tailored recruiting approach based on the business need
- Leverage previous university recruiting knowledge, recruitment results, and market intelligence to drive strategies and influence key internal stakeholders on recruitment activities and programs
- Support new hire on-boarding and assimilation activities
- Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
- Arrange for interviews and provide travel arrangements as necessary.
- Use digital attraction tools such as Handshake and LinkedIn to engage with prospective candidates and build the Freedom brand
- Develop and coordinate advertising and marketing events on campus
- Serve as a “Brand Ambassador” at all university touchpoints, recruiting events, and online.
- Travel is up to 50% during peak Campus Recruiting Season
- Cultivate strategic relationships with hiring managers across all business units to understand the needs and roles to be filled by advising, influencing, and challenging when needed.
- Partner with managers and HR partners in ensuring job description content accurately reflects described roles.
- Develop and execute social media plans/strategies with the marketing team. Post job ads and source potential candidates on social media groups
- Research and source passive candidates through multiple channels.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four (4) year College or University preferred.
- 1+years of prior experience in the development, planning, and execution of early career and/or university recruitment strategies.
- Must have exceptional skills with managing details and can prioritize work effectively in an environment with competing demands.
- The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, self-directed and a quick learner with the ability to master new systems quickly
- Must be willing and able to travel and work extended hours during the peak campus recruiting season
- 1+ years of experience building relationships with senior stakeholders, candidates, and university contacts.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook for presentations and report generation
- Event planning experience is highly desirable
