Enjoli Kendricks Taylor - Corporate Trainer, Learning & Development (Corporate)

“The people here invest their time in helping you succeed and achieve more.”

Enjoli is a corporate trainer with our Learning and Development team. Her day-to-day role includes conducting virtual orientations for new West Coast employees and hosting training classes that teach the basics of our two major information systems in the call center. After they complete her program, she follows up with them to see how they are transitioning into their roles. In addition to teaching, Enjoli helps create and update the training materials used in her classes.

“The most exciting part of my job is getting to meet and welcome our newest employees. I really enjoy their excitement and positive energy. Some of them have never worked for a mortgage company before and are a little nervous. My goal is to provide them with the knowledge and encouragement they need to feel confident entering into their new roles.”

When Enjoli was 21, her mother passed away – a loss that changed her life forever and left her with questions about how to move forward. She leaned on her family and her faith to get through a difficult time. It inspired her to reach higher in her career. Enjoli has always had an interest in rental properties, even purchasing her first investment property in Philadelphia. This encouraged her to obtain her Pennsylvania real estate license to learn more about the real estate market. Her passion for real estate lead her to the mortgage industry and to Freedom Mortgage.

“Not only do I want to achieve more in my life, but also give back by teaching others what I’ve learned.”

Enjoli’s desire to teach and guide others fits right in with Freedom’s culture and commitment to nurturing and growing their talent.

“The people here invest their time in helping you succeed and achieve more. I have experienced so much personal growth because of the people that believed in me, specifically my mentors at Freedom. My peers have held me to a high standard by investing their time and energy in me. They always have their door open for me to talk with them.

I want to offer that same experience to others as much as I can. I value the diverse employees here, where we have vice presidents and directors that come from different ethnicities and cultures and I really appreciate that. It’s something that more companies should focus on.”

In her spare time, Enjoli is an avid reader and most recently read “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert T. Kiyosaki – a book that she says really changed her way of thinking about life and money.
