Tips for New Loan Advisors with Victor F.
This week, we’re excited to introduce you to Victor F., a Loan Advisor in the Fast Track program at Freedom Mortgage. In this article, Victor discusses his advice on how to thrive as a new Loan Advisor in the mortgage industry.
“I joined Freedom Mortgage in late 2021 without any previous mortgage experience. My journey started through the Fast-Track Program,” Victor told us. “My first step was to prepare for the SAFE exam, which was a challenge. However, I was surrounded by experienced and encouraging people who consistently gave me the tools necessary to pass the exam. As I moved into my role as a Loan Advisor, my immediate managers were there by my side to help me, day in and day out, to better understand and learn about the position. They were constantly providing me with techniques and ideas about how to become a better Loan Advisor.”
For Victor, his experience as a Loan Advisor has been equally challenging and rewarding. “For someone new to the industry, my advice would be to fully welcome and embrace the knowledge and guidance provided by the trainers and leaders, as they truly wish for your success,” Victor said. “Don’t be discouraged by the ups and downs of the process. Be open to new ideas and challenges. This recipe will lead you to success in the industry and at Freedom Mortgage. Since my first day at Freedom Mortgage, I have had nothing but the best experience. I have never worked for a company that has invested so much in me. The amount of time, effort, and support offered to me by all my coaches and managers has been amazing. Leadership has shown me that I am indeed part of the family and part of this culture. I am looking forward to a long and rewarding tenure here at Freedom Mortgage in the years to come!”
